There are lots of scooters on the market, but only one Vespa. PiaggioPiaggio has been in business since 1898, and entered the scooter market in 1946 with their iconic Vespa motorscooter.  They now own and market models under the Vespa, Piaggio, Derbi, Gilera, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia brands.  Piaggio scooters are a lower-priced alternative to Vespa, and incorporate many of the same great technical features.   Genuine ScootersGenuine Scooter Company began in Chicago in 2002, when a vintage scooter enthusiast there joined forces with a former Vespa joint venture partner in India.  Thus the Stella was born, and became available to consumers in March of 2003.  The Scooter Lounge led the nation that year in Stella sales.  We love Genuine and the high-quality models they offer. SYMSanyang, or SYM, is the biggest motorcycle company you've never heard of.  They have been building motorcycles since 1961, and currently produce about 1 million motorcycles and scooters per year.  While SYM is well-known throughout the world, they are relatively new to the USA.  SYM enjoys a solid reputation for quality and performance. Lance PowersportsStarting in 2010, Lance Powersports began importing SYM-built scooters, and private labeling them under the Lance brand.  We are pleased to offer the Lance lineup to our customers.
